Please do come and visit us: you will discover that the journey into nature starts immediately. Trees and plants, flowers and fruits: in the garden of "La Casa di Melo" there's all it takes to plunge into the leisure of countryside and enjoy its fruits.

The flower borders in front of the main entrance recall different environments: American canes, bougainvilleas, elephant ears, pachypodium. The flower borders on the pavement instead remind of the desert environment of Southern California and Mexico with big Aloe and succulent plants.

There are also roses, aromatic plants, and fruit trees such as Indian fig, medlar, fig, and walnut trees. The citrus plantation offers different species: Femminello Siracusano lemon, Valencia orange, juicy Naveline, grapefruits and tangerines. Part of the garden is an eco-sustainable organic orchard, naturally fertilized with our home-made farm compost.

Our vegetable garden supplies season products we use for cooking tasty Sicilian traditional food. From this rich variety of vegetables and citrus we obtain our "La Casa di Melo" sampling specialities such as Caterina's red onion preserve, citrus and figs marmalades and jam, walnut pesto.
