The farmhouse La casa di Melo has been created by our family in order to have a meeting place inside our organic farm. The aim was to pass on our traditional values and to share with our guests our love and respect for the land and the surrounding environment.

Twenty years ago, my father who was worried for the health of us children and of his land, decided that he was no longer willing to use traditional cultivation techniques, that is overloading the land with harmful chemical substances. From an environmental point of view, it was necessary to switch to a more sustainable cultivation system, that is why he decided to set up the organic cultivation. Today our horticultural products are known across Europe thanks to their superior quality. They can be eaten unpeeled even by infants!
